Wescovaires Audition Information
This page is meant to get ready for your in-person Wescovaires Audition. In addition, this page outlines all parts of the audition - if you have any questions please feel free to email Mr. Wigglesworth at tyler.wigglesworth@wcusd.org.
Step 01 - Check In & Initial Paperwork
Students will take a quick reference picture
Students will turn in their audition paperwork.
Paperwork can be found by CLICKING HERE
Make sure to bring a hardcopy of the paperwork to your audition - we will be collecting it then.
Students will complete general information
Step 02 - Vocal Range & Musicianship
The Student’s range will be tested as well as their musicianship through two quick music games
CHORD GAME - A chord will be played and the student will be asked to sing a note in the chord.

SING IT BACK - A simple melody will be played and the student will be asked to sing it back.

This part will be completed with Mrs. Kana
Step 03 - Vocal Performance
Students will prepare a song from any genre that best shows off your voice [you will only sing about 30 seconds of the song]
Students will also be doing a quick rhythmic sight-reading assessment
This part will be completed with Mr. Wigglesworth
Step 04 - Music Theory Placement Test
Students will complete a digital assessment demonstrating their fundaments music theory knowledge. Students should score a minimum of 80% on this test; scores below 80% may not be considered.
** Please note that even though the audition is only scheduled for a 3 min time slot - it will take about 20 mins to complete the full audition; plan accordingly.
